IMS becomes a member of the Irish Green Building Council

We are delighted to announce that we have joined the Irish Green Building Council (IGBC) and its global action network.

Launched in 2011, the IGBC is a non-profit organisation, and the leading authority on sustainable building in Ireland. Affiliated to the World Green Building Council, the IGBC and its members have one common goal – to transform the Irish construction and property sector into a global leader in quality and sustainability through leadership, research, education and providing policy input to national and local government.

We are delighted to be joining this action network and are very much looking forward to being an active member and leading the transition to a sustainable built environment in Ireland.

As Ireland's first recycled aggregate producer and the proud holder of an EPD for recycled aggregates, our goal has always been to support our clients in maximising the potential of their sites while helping to reduce their carbon footprint.

By joining the IGBC, IMS reaffirms its commitment to responsible waste management and resource recovery. With over 35% of Europe's total waste generation coming from the construction and demolition industry, we truly believe that following the circular economy principles for sustainable development is the most effective way to tackle climate change.
