IMS are proud to have sponsored the Irish Waste Management Conference again this year. The conference was held in Croke Park on 28th November 2018. The event is the premier waste management event in Ireland with all leading waste management companies, policy makers, stakeholders, business leaders, regulators and service providers attending.
The title for this year’s conference is Developing the Waste Market, a number of interesting speakers and topics included:
- The Definition of Waste
- Waste Policy Update
- Waste Law Developments
- Benchmarking Household Waste Costs
- Article 27 and 28; By-Products and End of Waste
- Capacity Challenges
This year’s conference was of particular interest to IMS as we are currently completing an End of Waste environmental study on recycled aggregates which we hope will add to Ireland’s circular economy for construction wastes.
